  • M.Sc  in Zoology from the University of North Bengal in  First Class securing 73.4% of marks in the year 1999.
  • B.Sc (Hons.) in Zoology from A.B.N Seal College under North Bengal University in First class securing 64.4% of marks in the year 1997.

Awards:

  •  Awarded University Medal for being First Class Second in B.Sc (Hons.) Examination.
  • Awarded Junior Research Fellowship by the CSIR-UGC in the year 2002.
