• Worked as Research Investigator of Short Term Documentation Project on NACTAF (North Eastern Archival Centre for Traditional Art & Folkore), Tezpur University, sponsored by Ford Foundation in 1999.
• Joined as a Ph.D scholar at Tezpur University from 1999 to 2005 (Department of Cultural Studies)
